About Me
I grew up in a big patchwork family - my little brothers are just starting school now - and so I love it when there’s a lot of traffic in the house, if it’s family, friends or some Couchsurfers.
Witten is a really small town, its full of students and its getting more interesting because there is like an own culture growing: There is a little package-free shop, a lot of urban gardening, some alternative music events and a lot of nice places at the river where you can do slacklining, hulahoop or just swim in the "most clear industry river" - on the other hand I am used to live in a big city, where you can visit theatres, museums and so on, so I really enjoy every time we go to Bochum, Essen, Dortmund or Cologne...
I'm studying medicine and theres a lot to do for it, but I'm always looking for the opportunity to meet people and have fun! 🙂
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to get to know new people around the world. Couchsurfing is the perfect way to get in touch with people, especially with local people who can show you around or just talk to you and explain, how everything works in that different culture... I really like to stay in different homes and just see how different people live and how they are…

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When my friend and I were traveling through Peru and wanted to return to Argentina, where we lived for one year, someone stole my friend´s backpack. Unfortunately, her passport was in the backpack, so we could not cross the border to Chile. We had to go back to Lima, the Capital of Peru, without any money. There were some friendly guys who borrowed us some money for the Hostel in Lima, but we were so hungry!!! Such an interesting experience, not having anything to eat - and then: The first pommes! We bought them with the little bit of money we had left and asked the people for some bread too, and they gave it to us, without having to pay - we just run to the next bank! Those were some incredibly delicious Pommes Frites...
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share with you the flair of Witten 😉
Just hanging out in the park or at the river, show you the best ice-cream of town or if you want to go to Bochum, Essen, Dortmund or cologne, I can recommend you places where you can eat very well, dance to electronic music or enjoy some good theatre, or how to come to the "Folkwang museum", which is a really good one...
