About Me
Hello! I have recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with an art degree and I am in Europe to spread my wings. I have been to Italy three times during my college summers to teach English for a family with three children. On my latest visit in early 2017, I traveled solo to see more corners of the world! With a strong interest in art history, architecture, and connecting with those around me, im always looking out for the next opportunity to travel.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am new to Couchsurfing! I truly believe traveling is more than just visiting a place. Traveling is to understand the life that resides in these spaces and taking the time to absorb the food, history, and culture adored by those that live there. From the little bit of exploring that I have done, I have witnessed incredible generosity from hosts and fellow travelers and it's wonderful to see the authenticity that still exists.
Interests
I am most comfortable with landscapes, but love exploring culture within the walls of cities. Traveling has reaffirmed my love for walking, climbing every staircase and hill for the greatest view, walking, coffee breaks... and walking :)
