ABOUT ME

I love to travel the world. All the while meeting amazing people full of stories, and trying to learn new languages. I grew up in California, then spent a year abroad in Italy, a summer in Costa Rica, volunteered in Spain, backpacked Europe, and now after completing my associates degree I am off to San Jose state to get my bachelors.

CouchSurfing has proven to be a great way to meet people, and really see how locals live throughout the world!

Movies: Monty Python, lord of the rings, and many others that I (of course) can't think of right now...

Music: Mumford and sons, nahko bear and Medicine for the people, Agnes obel, feist, arcade fire, queen, fleet foxes, of monsters and men, daughter, Tracy chapman, James Vincent McMorrow, Portugal the man, first aid kit, purity ring, grimes, flume, and so so so much more!

Books: Ishmael, Harry potter, and anything by Jo Nesbo to name a few, but reading is one of my favorite past times, so there are so many to add to this list!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived abroad in Italy for a year, and got to travel all over Europe. I met so many amazing people, and learned new things about this world we all live in. The year abroad really showed me to be tolerant and always have an open mind.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can speak a bit of Spanish and I am conversationally fluent in Italian (although a bit rusty) so I would love to help you out if you are learning either of those languages! I also have a bunch of random knowledge stored in my brain and love to add more, so I just love to talk, listen and learn and share my stories and hearing abut yours!
