Hello! I'm a Master in Teaching student at Washington State University, training to become a secondary earth and space science educator in the state of Washington. I also hold both an M.S. and B.A. in Geology.

I trained as a ballet dancer until age 22, traveling all over the US to train at various ballet (Vaganova technique) ballet academies.

Because of the ballet, and various family things, I have lived in Alaska, England, Florida, North Carolina, Colorado, New Jersey, Texas, and Indiana. I very happily moved to Washington state for graduate school and consider the PNW my forever home 💜

I love to visit state and national parks, and national monuments. My favorite area of America is the western half because of the big skies, the beautiful, visible geology, and the ability to do lots of outdoor activities.

Hiking and camping are my favorite activities. I love music and watching good tv shows and movies.

I appreciate, and love learning about, different traditions and cultures.

I love animals (I have a kitty cat, named Lydia).

I'm low income and definitely understand that travel can be expensive. I would like to help ease that burden for others and I hope to have similar opportunities for my travels.

I also love to meet new people and learn about their life experiences. We definitely don't have to chit chat if you wish/dont have the time, but both Max and I enjoy getting to know new people. Couchsurfing is a great way to make long-distance friends :)

Music: I enjoy pretty much all music, but my favs are post-hardcore and classical.
Movies: Anything fantasy and/or emotionally moving/insightful. I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter.
Books: Harry Potter (original series), Smoke Gets in Your Eyes, From Here to Eternity...reading the the Golden Compass right now. I didn't really get a chance to read for fun during school, so I'm just starting up.
