Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hosting travelers breaks up the monotony of living in the same place because they bring with them all their culture and language that likely differs from my own. It's a way of traveling without actually leaving your city :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I have some knowledge about biological sciences, a bit about nature, and a bit about philosophy, but mostly I love learning new things and dabble around a bit, and therefore I can't really say I'm particularly excellent at any one thing. Would prefer to have deep discussions about politics, philosophy, science, etc. than partake in small talk (which isn't my forte), so be honest, disagree with me, and enlighten me about the way you view the world :D

I work in a research lab studying diabetes and obesity so I try to be mindful of foods that are both sustainably sourced and nutritious. I love cooking and learning about other cultures through my taste buds :)
