I live in Detroit, the best City I have visited so far! I love adventure and joined a local couchsurfing group to meet other adventurers. I work as a policy and advocacy specialist for a nonprofit. I am an animal lover, avid reader, and complete nerd (board games, sci-fi, you name it).

I joined couchsurfing because the people who know the most about an area are the people who live there. I enjoy getting to know my hosts and learn about the area I'm traveling in through their experiences.

My favorite books include the Harry Potter series, 11/22/63, Game of Thrones series, and Brave New World. I have recently read and enjoyed All the Light we Cannot See, The Handmaid's Tale, and The Core of the Sun. I am currently reading Stephen King's The Gunslinger series, it's amazing so far.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed the Great Wall of China! Not only was it an incredible view and an amazing place to meet others, but it was something I was not expecting to be able to accomplish.
