ABOUT ME
Hi, my name is Cassie. I am attending school in Idaho, where I am studying math and chemistry in hopes to teach high school. My short term dream is to teach abroad for a while so I can have an opportunity to see some of the world. I am also into CrossFit and possibly a little addicted.
I am planning on spending the holidays visiting Auckland, in which I fell in love with during my first trip two years ago. I have already had some amazing adventures and excited to see what this trip brings. I have most definitely caught the travel bug.
PHILOSOPHY
Everything happens for a reason and do what you can to live life to the fullest.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When I traveled to Europe this last winter, I had 2 wonderful couch surfing experiences. Eren and Mark were great hosts in Geneva for the 3 days we stayed and Athens for the 2 days, respectively. After these experiences with coach surfing, I realized how amazing of an opportunity it is to be welcomed into others' homes. Couch surfing is such a great program and I'm so happy to be a part of a giving culture.
Interests
I love sports and played volleyball and tennis in college. Also, I greatly enjoy traveling and the outdoors, especially camping, skiing, floating the river, wakeboarding, swimming, and hiking. I additionally love anything to do with the beach, whether it is surfing, swimming, or just hanging out tanning on the sand.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my favorite moments while traveling in Europe was the last night I was in Rome. It was starting to become dusk and I decided to go to Castel Sant' Angelo. I walked up to the top of the stairs and had a beautiful view of the city and the Vatican. It was an extremely amazing view and a very reflective moment for me as I watched the sun set. I will never forget this experience.
