Overview
About Me
I make pilgrimages and travel on soul's journeys. I am an anthropologist at heart and seek travel experiences that are as far from my comfort zone as possible. I am lively, playful, heart-felt, full of wonder and I ask a lot of questions. I am a writer and worked at an international development nonprofit before I quit my job to travel. Now I am confused and unemployed, but writing always, creating always, and photographing always. I worked as a gardener at a Buddhist center and have a strong meditation practice. I love black coffee. I like dogs and goats the best. I love cooking and I am good at simple food. I love to cook people something called Egg In the Basket. I'll make it for you. I like funny people. I am nice. I like Jungian psychology and read a lot. I keep journals. I love music and those who can play music, though I sold my cello several years ago. I am open-hearted. I like talking about feelings. I love body-oriented psychology. I love art and appreciate the creative process. I admire quiet people. I love to go on long walks. I like to sleep in, but I love early mornings, too. I am easy to get along with.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love people and they are the reason I travel! I want to have experiences with people around the world. I want to give back while learning a new language, having camaraderie, and enjoying a slower pace to life. I like the community that can be built with couch surfing. I want to have friends all around the world. I absolute love seeing a place from the eyes of someone who lives there. I love sharing about my culture and learning a new one.
