Overview
About Me
When I was 27 years old, I had never ventured outside of Australia until I brought a one way ticket to Europe!
I was very excited to explore new cultures, form beautiful connections and go on adventures of my own.
After spending three months hitchiking and couch surfing my way across many different countries, I spontaneously decided to move to Berlin (I'm so lucky to now split my time between the two countries).
I am a weird human and always try to keep in touch with my inner-child. I love being out in nature and away from the craziness of life to recharge in solitude, but I also love socialising and meeting new people.
I really love practicing self-care, challenging myself, and building habits that support my physical and emotional health. I find that I thrive the most when I am helping others, so four years ago, I quit my job in sales/retail to study social support work, and I have been so much more fulfilled in life ever since!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Throughout my childhood, I always lived a very sheltered life - fear was instilled into me from an early age by my parents, and for most of my life, I let that guide many of my decisions. After many years, I realised that I could decide whether I was going to let that fear keep controlling my life!
In 2022 I started saying "yes" to new experiences, and couchsurfing was one of them! So far, I have been amazed to see so many beautiful doors opening in my life because of this. I have started embracing uncertainty, feeling truly alive and empowered for the first time, and shifting strongly from once being fearful to now having my life more filled with positivity and adventure!
Opening myself to couch surfing has allowed me to make some beautiful, lifelong connections, and I'm so excited to continue making new friends around the world as I continue saying 'yes'!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: My favourite genres are Southern Gothic, Blues and Roots, Drum and Bass, Electro, Country, and Hip Hop!
My favourite songs at the moment are: Thieves and Kings by the Peach Kings, Schüttel deinen Speck by Peter Fox, What makes a Good Man? By The Heavy, Sleeping on the Blacktop by Colter Wall, So Are You by Dub Fx. Ohhh and of course anything by Gin Wigmore!
Movies: I love re-watching movies from my childhood (that nostalgia feeling really gets me!), but I also really enjoy thriller and horror films. I spend more time watching documentaries, interviews and reality shows, though. My favourite reality show is Love on the Spectrum (a dating TV series for people with ASD), and for interviews, I love watching the Soft White Underbelly YouTube channel about people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Books: I love reading autobiographies, because I find it inspiring to learn about a person's greatest struggles and triumphs.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lost all of my hair when I was twelve, I'm still bald, but I fully embrace it, and I love wearing different wigs!
ALSO
Hitchhiking...
I've hitchhiked over 4200 kilometres around Europe everywhere from Greek Islands to the Arctic Circle in Lofoten Norway, then back down to Spain.
I've been stranded in the middle of the desert. Completely lost in the woods during a thunderstorm. I have met people who have invited me to stay in their home for many days at a time and have made beautiful friendships.
I've been picked up by an old guest at Salvador Dali's farm, an Iraqi gang leader/millionaire who turned his life around and so many other amazing people.
