About Me

I CANNOT HOST RIGHT NOW

Im a 20 year old Aussie who has just moved back home and is starting uni next year. I will study education as I want to be a teacher of small children. I would describe myself as caring, sharing, loud at times and a bit quirky. I try to respect everybody and (in this case) their schedules.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel like couch surfing will gives me the best way to experience all sorts of different cultures in this short time. Plus I do love having insider knowledge on the 'secret parts' of each city. I also hope I can make some more international friends as I love diversity in my life.

Interests

I love the theatre and must admit travelling revolves around where I can get my next show business hit. I love being artsy and singing and have gotten involved with choirs, ushering and volunteering in my community. I also love reading, walking and exploring. I love chatting with people, intelligent (and sometimes not so intelligent) conversations, meeting new people and experiencing new cultures, cooking although I am not so good at it and just generally having a good laugh, usually at my own expense!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love most music but specifically have a thing for musicals, pop, classics such as Queen and ABBA, 'daggy' music you can sing super loud and dance to - a real mix. Movie wise something that makes me smile and laugh but I also love a good rom-com or documentary.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved to London when I was only 19 and lived there working as an au pair for 1 and a half years.. Aside from that my most treasured memories are being in my college musicals (Footloose and Hairspray).

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach all you know. Learn all you can. Share all your wisdom.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hopefully I can share my Australian relaxed attitude with my hosts and learn from them. I like to bake so I am more than happy to whip up a batch of traditional Australian ANZAC biscuits to share my culture around. I can also share my time, whether it just be a conversation here and there or maybe going out with them for a while.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Cambodia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Malaysia, Netherlands, Scotland, Spain, Viet Nam
