Hi there!
I love life. I think that sums myself up pretty well.

I grew up in Toronto, but am currently pursuing a double major in Economics and Political Science at McMaster University in Canada. However this year I’ve been living in Lille France on exchange. This year has undoubtedly been the best year of my life, not only because of all of the cool travel experiences I’ve had, but because of all the people I’ve met along the way. Here’s to hoping this summer is much of the same!

I'm an adventurer at heart, and my favourite thing to do while travelling is simply exploring where I am with my own 2 feet. I'm an extremely adventurous person and I love trying new things (sorry Mom). I don't even think twice about trying things like skydiving or cliff jumping!

I caught my first little taste of travel after I finished highschool. I spent 3 months backpacking through Australia, and ever since then I’ve had feet that can’t seem to sit still.

I'm a huge foodie, and love trying new dishes. Indian cuisine is my absolute favourite! You’ll also frequently find me in a sushi coma. The number of weird foods I’ve tried is alarming, but hey… you can’t say you don’t like something until you try it right?

Heads up to fellow travellers: give me a few glasses of wine and take me out dancing, and I will dance the night away!

I'm also in love with photography! Last summer I finally bought myself a proper camera, and I've had a blast since improving my photography skills. Always looking for models for cool travel shots!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Being a couchsurfing newbie here, I’m not quite sure what to expect. I’ve heard lots of awesome things about it, and I’ve finally bitten the bullet to give it a try. After having this account sit around for a few years, I figured it was time!

Ultimately I’d love to meet new people and connect more with the places I visit. I find that my favourite travel memories are always with new friends I’ve made while on the road. It’s awesome to see the sights and explore a city, but it’s even better when you have someone to make the memories with!

MOVIES:
Titanic is and always will be my favourite movie of all time. No question about it.

MUSIC:
I'm pretty laidback with music, I listen to just about anything (Excluding rap). Admittedly I'm a pretty big country fan, but I'm also big into some classic rock. You might occasionally have me singing along to a Justin Bieber song (sorry, he is Canadian after all).

As I'm currently trying to learn French, it would be awesome to meet up with people that I can speak the language with!

I make a mean banana bread, and addicting Nutella brownies.

I'm also a pretty good cook! I get creative in the kitchen, which usually turns out pretty well.
