ABOUT ME

I believe in having fun and being kind, and doing all we can to make the world a nicer place to be, for everyone. I like writing, reading, and painting almost as much as I like laughing until my head hurts with friends, old or new. A nice walk in the woods makes my heart happy, as do most dogs.

Life is what we make it, and it is fantastic. When we focus on good, joyful, positive things, that is what fills our reality.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Until recently, I have only been a housemate of couchsurfing hosts. I saw some tremendous bonds and friendships be created and was so happy to be able to couchsurf across the US on a 3 month road trip.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed in various places across the US, and had a terrific time doing it. People are amazing! It has been wonderful to let strangers take care of me in one way or another, and I am always excited to do the same for others.

Interests

I love the great outdoors, and being outside in general. Hiking, camping, playing soccer, swimming at the beach, and simply enjoying the sunshine are some of my favorite activities. I also love card games, social drinking, and cooking. In fact, food deserves its own category; a locally sourced fresh cooked meal is a sure way to my heart. I'm interested in making the world a better place and having tons of fun along the way

Teach, Learn, Share

I studied Environmental Studies and Psychology in school, so I know a lot about the state of the world ecologically and why people behave the way we do, and I LOVE talking about all of it. I can paint, draw, and cook reasonably well, and can fold a mean paper crane.
