Overview
About Me
I am 27 years old, originally from the States but have spent the past 7 years in South Korea.
My dream has always been to travel but due to some unfortunate circumstances I have been unable to do so until recently. Now I'm looking to start small, travel within Korea, and then move up to other parts of Asia, and eventually I would like to tour Europe.
since this is probably important information, I should say, I don't smoke, and I'm not a big drinker. I like drinking with good company but never to the point that I don't have control over my motor functions. Once I've got a good buzz on, I stop.
I am an animal lover and have 2 lovely kitties at home.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really want to travel but accommodations seem to be the most expensive part of doing so. It's nice to meet new people, too, and I think couch surfing allows for a really unique travel experience.
Unfortunately because I live in a one room studio apartment, at the moment I can't really accept guests, as my cats are wary of new people and cry all night if they're in the same room as someone they don't know. ㅠㅠ
Interests
I'm a nerd, so I love things like board games, table top rpgs, video games and fantasy novels. I read a lot and always have way more books loaded on my kindle than I really need. I love getting new book recommendations.

Music, Movies, and Books
The music I listen to is highly dependent upon my mood. I like classical music, particularly piano, violin and harp, but I also like to dance to EDM and upbeat pop music sometimes.
My favorite movie is a really weird and obscure Korean movie called "I'm a cyborg and that's okay". Most people don't understand it, and look at me funny when I tell them it's my favorite.
My favorite book is "Kafka on the Shore" by Haruki Murakami. I enjoy fantasy and sci-fi books more than others. I read a lot, though, so I don't keep myself confined to any one genre.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a somewhat decent baker. I make a mean loaf of banana bread.
I've also been told I'm a good listener and good company for those who may be lonely or need someone to vent to.
I also like to dance like an idiot, so if you're looking for a friend to go to the club (although I'm not much of a clubber), karaoke, or just dance around in the living room with, I'm your gal.
