About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Empowering Tibetan women, one footballer at a time
ABOUT ME
Born and raised a Jersey girl, started my international travels in college through the Semester at Sea program. Did the teaching thing in Thailand for a year, and taught high school history in the USA for five years. Left it all to move to India to create and manage the Tibet Women's Football program, which is a combined empowerment/football training program in the Tibetan refugee community.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm all about spending time with good people, having REAL conversations, communing with nature, and living each day to its fullest.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have couchsurfed with many people in 5 different countries so far, and each experience has been positive. In fact, couchsurfing has had such an amazing influence on the quality of my travels, that I hope to participate for many years to come, as a host too. The generosity of people is humbling, and most inspiring!
Interests
I love traveling, reading, music, and relaxing. Our favorite place in the world is Dharamsala, India, where I have volunteered long-term in the Tibetan community. I am a teacher, and love being around babies and kids.
