CURRENT MISSION

I want to experience as much of the world as I can. I want to meet people from all backgrounds, and see live music from all parts of the world.

ABOUT ME

I am a vegetarian but I respect people that aren't. I strive to overcome my emotions, to allow joy into my life everyday. I am very open-minded. I am looking for some kind of faith, right now I am far too rational. I love music. I play cello, and attempt an assortment of other instruments (such as an ocarina I found in Guatemala). I like meeting people that enjoy unique experiences, like building snow globes or jumping off hot air balloons.

PHILOSOPHY

Courage is contagious. I will never stop trying to see the world through other people's eyes and experiences. Everything is worth learning about.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I cannot provide a couch right now, but I am willing to help in other ways. I have a wealth of knowledge about the area's music, art, and nature. I would also love to just grab coffee of a drink with anyone! I believe that money should not control people's ability to travel and experience each other's company.

Books: Anything by Phillip Pullman, Guy Gavriel Kay, Sharon Shinn, Anne Bishop, Libba Bray, Stephenie Meyer, J.K. Rowling, Dawn Cook, and everything else.

Music: I love folk, indie, electronic, hardcore, metal. My favorite bands right now are Cursive, Frightened Rabbit, Bookends, Die Young, and The Dear Hunter.

Movies: I love Amelie, Snuff, Driving Lessons, The Hours, Mona Lisa Smile, government education films from the 50's, How To Deal, and tons more.

I have ridden the world's largest ferris wheel in japan.
I have bungee jumped three times.
I have volunteered at an animal shelter in Sumpango, Guatemala.
I have had beautiful conversations on the Mediterranean sea.
I play with monkeys every evening.
