About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm kind, easy going, get along with most people, love to laugh, and enjoy people. I go out of my way to help others whether it be with a task or a listening ear. I'm loyal, dependable, honest, and reliable.

PHILOSOPHY

Love people. Love life. Laugh a lot. All three of these experienced together are wonderful.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE:

I like to share life with people - young and old, from near and far, doing activities and just talking. I love learning about others. So, I'm happy to host people. Whether they're here for a few days or a week, I'm excited to learn more about the lives of other people, cultures, and places and hope to share some of my life with others too.

Interests

I like spending time getting to know others, being active outdoors, traveling internationally, cooking/baking, listening to and singing along with music, playing board games, and learning new things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - Rock, alternative, pop music, folk, acoustic, Americana, and pretty much anything that sounds good. No screaming or unintelligible allowed. :)

Movies - Comedies, romantic comedies, action, drama, suspense, real-life stories, classics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing Yosemite, the Grand Canyon, and the Caribbean were trips that made me hungry to see and experience more of the world.
Experiencing a surprise in the sky - the Northern Lights - when I was in college. It was a beautiful sight to behold.
Taking EPIC road trip from 3-7 weeks exploring the west coast, southwest, and anywhere else I fancy. I stop at new places, visit new people, and experience a host of other things anywhere I go.
Driving around Ireland and exploring the countryside while meeting some of the most fantastically kind people was wonderful.
Walking many, many miles a day throughout Italy, taking in all the amazing art, culture, food, wine, music, people, architecture, and history that I could.
Experiencing the gorgeous sunsets on Santorini, Greece was breathtaking.
Riding camels and quad motorbikes all over the Sahara desert was an epic experience that I will remember forever.
When camping in the middle of the Sahara desert - seeing the entirety of the night sky lit up by the stars and even seeing the fullness of Milky Way was phenomenal! It gave me goosebumps!!! There wasn’t a single light around in any direction since we were in the middle of the desert. I felt so small in this great big universe. It was stunning.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach English, how to cook and bake traditional "American" food.

I'd like to learn about other people - their lives, where they're from, their culture, and more!

I like to share life, stories, laughter, and memories.
