ABOUT ME

I am a carer and it is not always possible to take in couchsurfers because I am not at home. I have never couchsurfed myself yet but maybe some kind person will one day accept me to surf on their couch with my husband. We are minimalist people who love to meet kind people from all over the world like ourselves.
I'm married with one lovely daughter who is 22 years old. I enjoy the simple things in life. I enjoy meeting new people and would love to travel sometime in the future. My husband and I would love to Couch Surf with the people we meet in later years if they will have us. I'm friendly and helpful and will make your stay homely.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are just ordinary people who love meeting and welcoming other people into our home and filling them in on our cultures and lives. I will offer my home to couch surf in, but in return I would hope you will respect my home and family. We respect each other with regards to noise levels etc., especially as my husband works hard and needs his rest. Other than that we will make your stay homely and look forward to hearing all about where you come from and your life stories.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My daughter hopes to couch surf throughout Australia this year and her boyfriend Sam hopes to travel to the United states of America and this will be a brilliant opportunity for both of them to see many different areas and learn about the different cultures. I joined couchsurfing as my daughter Mary and her boyfriend Sam hope to travel the world and I am sure they will be treated as kindly as I treat other couchsurfers. I hope that any couchsurfers who stay with us will enjoy our Irish hospitality. Mary and Sam are also couchsurfers offering their hospitality if and when they can accomodate travellers requests. Anyone who hosts my daughter/boyfriend will be welcomed in my home with open arms if it is atall possible to host them at that time. I will do my very very best to ensure they have an enjoyable time with us.

兴趣

We are interested in wildlife and getting out and about and going for walks, the simple things in life. If the weather is good I like to drive out around our beautiful North Coast and take in the magnificent scenery with my father, husband and daughter. We usually take a picnic and relax and have a good chat. My father is the most amazing storyteller I have ever met and our trips out are brilliant as we never stop laughing with him. I enjoy meeting new people and finding out about the places they come from and hearing all about them.

I enjoy reading and usually settle into bed with a nice book. I enjoy the readers digest as the stories are short and interesting. The National Geographic is another of my favourite books.

I lived and worked in New York for one year nearly 20 years ago. Having my daughter was 'the' most wonderful event of my life and we are great friends.
