ABOUT ME

My family is rather international and so I've grown up to be tolerant towards other people, other cultures, other believes. Education and knowledge have always played an important role in my life, but so have empathy and love.
The question "Where are you from?" is probably the hardest question you can ask me.
I'm a scientist (life sciences) turned teacher and loving it (so far). It is an incredibly rewarding profession and I have yet to have a boring minute in a classroom.
I love to laugh and take plenty of silly pictures, much to the annoyance of my friends ;)

PHILOSOPHY

To quote Mark Twain:
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
