I was born in Mallorca, but I have lived in several parts of the world as Salamanca, Madrid or Barcelona in Spain, Ireland or USA...
I believe the world is full of great people and great experiences to live, otherwise everything would be very boring! :)))
Thanks to my job as a photographer I've traveled all around the world and I've found always a smile everywhere I go. I try to bring mine to join the fun all around me, so don't be scared if you see me happy.
I love black humor, you should know this in case you get offended, but normally it's easy to see through my face when I'm joking :-)

For quite a while I worked as a Report & Travel Photographer, and lately also as a Travel Video Documentary Presenter. I turned it into a startup and I work in the travel market at http://madeto.travel

PHILOSOPHY

I believe our life is all about the experiences we live. That's the only thing we're gonna bring with us once we pass away. I do not like problems, just wanna feel the world and its peoples energy all around.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

You have my couch available. Although I travel a lot because of my job as a photographer. When I'm home.. you're welcome.
I organized and still organize several gatherings at various places, from Mallorca to Moscow, right now hosting "Moscow's Language Exchange Meeting" every Sunday from 6pm, check Moscow's CS events. I'm happy to have helped starting more than 6 events in Moscow and some other in Mallorca.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Interests

I'm interested in people. In their stories. Their stories of life. I love learning about other ways of life and listening to great stories...

I LOVE RED WINE... wait, did I say I love beer? Yes, right, I do, but wine is just so amazing. I LOVE COOKING and with that... you need a good bottle of wine, and of course good company. Of course, better if it's a good wine, it makes a difference, and in the end food is better too when you cook it joyfully)))

I LOVE BEER, not the bad beer, the good one! Czech and Belgian beer mostly. If I have to say one dark beer, I'd say Guinness, if I have to say a blond beer, I'd say Pilsner Urquell, just love it so much...
On the other hand, I hate the fashion around Gin&Tonic nowadays, I prefer Rum&Coke or Mojito. I'm kind of classic, you know...

I LOVE BALLET AND OPERA, yes it may sound weird, but it was my childhood's soundtrack, with SWING (The Rat Pack). I love going to the theatre to enjoy a play, I'm going quite often to Moscow's Bolshoi Theatre, and Saint Petersburg's Mariinskiy Theatre. Their performances are outstanding, I totally recommend them.

I LOVE ROCK, but yeah, you'll see me dancing David Guetta after a few rums, actually, I love music. It's awesome. I listen to rock normally, but I'm open to all kinds of music.
I love going to live music concerts and jam sessions, it's something I do every week, anywhere I am, I cannot live without music, it's the rhythm of my life.

I said it before, I love beer. And I love drinking beer in good company. It's a perfect combination for an awesome chat.
On the other hand, in the hot afternoons of Mallorca, eating an ice cream while going for a walk is an absolutely gorgeous plan!

Music, Movies, and Books

I LOVE MOVIES. Yes, the first thing that got inside my flat was the TV and the Home Cinema. I didn't even had a bed, but I could watch movies! lol
I love oldies, my favourite movie is called Scaramouche, a film from 1952 starring Stewart Granger, Janet Leigh and Mel Ferrer. It's about adventures and of course, love... ;-)
I think new movies forget the most important thing, the scripts, the stories are mostly empty and all they have is good special effects.
I also like the old westerns and The Godfather series from Coppola; and Avatar from James Cameron! :)

On the music side of the world, I like mostly rock, my favourite band is AC/DC, and I also love Queen, Freddie's voice was absolutely amazing.
I like all the classics like The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Tom Petty, Guns n' Roses and lots more.
I really like swing music, I love Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin; classic music as well with Beethoven, Bach and Mozart on top of the list, but I also like a lot Dvorak and Tchaikovsky's ballets.

When we come to written stuff, I'm a very big fan of Historical Novels based in ancient times, such as the Roman Empire, Ancient Egypt or so. I really like Christian Jacq's novels.
A book that has marked me has been The Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien. A really good book with a great story and characters. If you want to listen to funny stories about this book and how it has been present in my life, just open the subject when you're talking with me and I'll tell you... ;-)
