ABOUT ME

What can I tell you about me that conveys who I am? Let's see, I am a California native living in Plano, Texas (north of Dallas). I have two kiddos that live with me. I love the outdoors, camping, hiking and of course, traveling! My job revolves around new people and I dig meeting new and interesting people and am always looking for a new experience. That being said, here I am on CouchSurfing.org!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been a member of CS since 2007, but have never participated. My time with some couch surfers has changed that. I am looking into the different groups and am finding local couch surfers to participate with. Volunteering and donating are int he near future!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I recently met three couch surfers from Oregon that stayed with a friend of mine. They were biking from New Orleans to Portland. What a great time getting to know them!

Interests

Interests, let's see: reading, writing, photography, cooking, culture, traveling, museums, history, nature, theater, wine, food, anything I can do on the water, surfing, snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, camping, spending time with my kids, taking them to new places and showing them new things. There is much more, but hopefully this gives you a good idea.

Music, Movies, and Books

Let's see, movies, I love old movies, Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, Kathrine Hepburn, Humphery Bogart, etc. I love to laugh, so comedies rock. One of my favorite movies is a forgein film called The Black Book.

Music: I love all types of music. Love the old jazz and blues, BB King, Louie Armstrong, etc. But I like country and Indie music as well.

Books: OK so books are my weakness! Under the Banner of Heaven rocks and I love Clive Cussler books. Currently I am reading Into the Storm.
