Hi! What was the best part of your day?

My name is Cat and I am a student/ employed in Denver and Boulder, Colorado! I try to travel as much as possible when I can, which is why I love couch surfing to meet new friends and make the most of my traveling!
Other than traveling, I am happiest just simply being outside soaking up the sunshine. I also really enjoy skiing, camping, hiking, cooking (well eating really), doing yoga, going to concerts, I think that plants are super interesting, and I like doing all kinds of crafts!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Just trying to travel in a way that lets me feel really present in each place I go. I am always stoked about meeting new friends! I also feel the need to pay it forward and pass on the incredible generosity I've experienced in my wandering thus far

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

helped build an entire full size home with materials completely from the Earth, with my bare hands, feet, aching muscles, sun blistered skin, full heart, and soul. I mixed homemade cement, molded earthen bricks, transported the (heavy !!) bricks, plastered, painted.....It was my definition of 'amazing' I'd say

I am studying in hopes of having my own second grade class one day, so I am always open to learning from you and from young souls! I can help with English practice and I would be more than willing plus I can share/exchange stories, gardening tips, fun diy crafts I have experimented with, recipes, yoga (more as a student/ sharer of space than as a teacher), my cleaning skills, playlists, or anything else- just ask!
