Hey there! I'm Catia, 30 years old and currently on a six week holiday in Brazil before starting a new job next year. I am originally from Portugal, have lived in London, Freetown and Hamburg and just recently moved to Berlin. I've just joined couchsurfing - I am easygoing, open-minded and love to travel and meet new people, so thought I would finally try it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am staying with a friend in the outskirts of Salvador (Lauro de Freitas), but would like a couple of days in the city itself - am also looking for someone who might be able to show me around a bit or go for a drink!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in Freetown, Sierra Leone for six months. Quitting my job and giving myself a 3 month holiday before the next one. Learning to dance salsa in Cuba and now forró in Salvador... there's many and most of them travel-related.
