Overview
About Me
I'm a yoga instructor, reiki level II practitioner, environmental engineer, animal lover, scuba diver, singer, vegetarian, and extremely restless human.
I have wild blonde hair that refuses to be tamed. I don't own a hairbrush. I worry that if I try to take charge of my hair it'll become self aware and kill me in my sleep.
I. Love. Food. Although I'm a vegetarian, I'm an adventurous eater. I've eaten tarantula in Cambodia and mopane worms in South Africa. I love trying local beer, wine, etc. but I'm usually happy after one glass so no need to worry about having a sloppy drunk on your hands.
I love animals more than words can express. There's a rule in my family that I'm not allowed to go to an animal shelter unsupervised because I'll come back with a plus one. Two of our dogs have joined our family that way.
I'm a lifelong learner and, while I do love to read and learn in a classroom, I prefer to learn from people. I want to learn from you!

Music, Movies, and Books
I will read anything and everything. If you need someone to discuss literature with, I'm your girl.
I enjoy comedy when it comes to movies and TV. I read serious books and watch funny shows.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One?! I can't choose.
I lived in Baja, Mexico, in a tent for a month during my yoga teacher training. Did days of fasting, vision quests, reiki training, and 7 hours of yoga a day. I swam in the ocean, admired the stars, got a nice tan, and fell in love with all of the wonderful people I shared this life changing experience with.
During my first certified dive, I witnessed an octopus in the wild. Watching it move through the water like oil was the most mesmerizing and majestic thing I've ever seen.
In Kruger National Park, my team and I rounded a corner to witness a lioness eating a buffalo. Slowly, the rest of the pride came over. In total, there were 12 lions. We watched them for hours. I made eye contact with a lioness and she stared deeper into my soul than I knew was possible.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a little to teach and a lot to learn.
What I Can Share with Hosts
