Overview
About Me
I'm interested in a few adventures for myself in this next chapter of my life. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I'm keen to re-learn my high school French, that I haven't used since travelling through central Africa in my 20's).
My adult children have started their travelling/working lives and it's reignited my passion for travel. Although I always love coming back to this place I call home. Having lived here for 10 years now, I can't imagine not living close to the sea.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couch surfing to meet people from different cultures, and walks of life. Having previously hosted exchange students from other countries for a number of years, I know what a great way it is to connect with the local culture by staying in someones private home.
