ABOUT ME

I'm doing the fifth year of the Bachelors abroad and it's the best decision I've ever made.

I'm really easy to get along with and I usually have a smile on my face. I love to cook for other people and my favorite food is egg. Cooking breakfast is my specialty :)

I love the sunshine in California, but I'm not ready to go back yet!

In the last 5 months I've started reading novels based on WWII, gradually watching all of Quentin Tarintino's movies, and painting a huge cartoon-version of Amsterdam on my wall.

I am graduating next semester with a Bachelors in human resource management and a minor in sociology. During my last semester, I have an internship with a non-profit organization that helps fight poverty in the Silicon Valley. Throughout my studies, I have consistently been interested in the causes of homelessness and poverty and done research and volunteer work in many shelters, churches, and help-centers. I plan to further my education by getting a masters in Humanities or Social Work.

I love to laugh, tell stories, dance, have dinner parties, and hang out in the park.

PHILOSOPHY

I am currently celebrating life. I try no to let let the small things ruin my day, and I believe that the big things always work themselves out, or turn out for the better. I believe that family is the most important part of life, and I life for crazy moments when all you feel is happiness and freedom. :)

I believe that life was meant to change, and I see my life changing drastically and many times in the next 10 years. Therefore, I know I need to work on handling the transition period.

I believe that life is best shared with others. Learning to enjoy time spent alone is valuable, but I enjoy a tipped balance of the two.
