I'm British, a journalist, and have been living in Colombia for two years. I spent three months volunteering with Venezuelan migrants and refugees walking through Colombia looking for jobs and a better life, then travelled for a bit before returning to the NGO to work as a coordinator. Recently I have been working as a freelance journalist and teaching English online.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I did couchsurfing a long time ago after university and loved it. I'm a sociable person who loves listening to other people's stories, travel adventures, and opinions on life.

Interests

I like running and yoga, travelling, volunteering, food...amongst many other things. I've run a few marathons.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think these two years living in Colombia has probably been the most amazing experience overall. Learning Spanish has given me a new tool to communicate with people from a different part of the world, and I've met some incredible people.
