About Me

CURRENT MISSION

connect with nature, write and heal, dance more, stress less

ABOUT ME

Resourceful, warm heart, creative, a good mate, love good intelligent conversation and some silliness as well ;-) Currently drawn to shamanism and eco psychology aka spending time in the woods

PHILOSOPHY

Don't forget to breathe, find your passion in life but don't crave it either. Kindness and mindfulness. Resistance is Joy! Cherish this damn beautiful planet and each other :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've moved flat recentlyand hopefully when things settle can share the space with others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed in 2012 around Eastern Europe and found it a really easy and great way to feel 'linked in'with a country and place quite quickly. Met some lovely people and feel very grateful to them. I've hosted people a few times since but informally outside of couchsurfing but moving around a bit myself so sadly haven't been able to host as much.

Interests

mountains, meditation, sea, growing food, creativity, positive social movements and politics to protect the earth and build new societies. I love travelling but also learning to 'be' wherever I am.
I'm more drawn to travelling that connects me with nature and food growing cultures right now but also like something spontaneous too xx

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many! Reading Manda Scott Boudica series right now, indigenous celtic magic historical storytelling. Love it

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Meeting Dalai Lama in Mcleod Ganj in 1999 made an everlasting impression. Living on the land sustainably at the eco-dharma centre in Spain opened something in me that has never gone away. And shutting down an oil refinery during the Crude Awakening was like going back to the rebellious feeling of tribe I had as a kid.

Teach, Learn, Share

Food Sovereignty is my activist passion right now. I love discussing food issues and eating good nourishing food. I try to meditate every day but oh well. I love to learn about other people's gifts and creative passions in life and their travels also.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like connecting with people and learning about their lives. I'm a good cook and happy to make yummy veggie/vegan food and also have medicine cards and have been told I'm a good healer. Let's see, I respect people's need for flow and space as well x

Countries I’ve Visited
