About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm shy at first, but if I get to know you better, I'm more outgoing.
I am very curious and love to learn new stuff everyday, especially about my surroundings and nature, which is why I study natural sciences.
I like to get to know new people, as much as I enjoy spending time with old friends and I am really excited about gaining more couchsurfing experiences. :)
PHILOSOPHY
I try to live my life without hurting and exploiting any other animal, which is why I am vegan.
I don't believe in authority and think that everyone should live freely and be able to satisfy their needs, without hurting any other beings. This is why I consider myself an anarchist.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was once traveling with a good friend to Sweden and I joined her with her couchsurfing hosts. It was such an awesome time. First we stayed in the countryside, cooked a nice meal and made a campfire with our host and then we travelled to Malmo, where we stayed with his friend. I feel that through this experience we really got to know everday life in Sweden and it was really interesting to compare the swedish and german cultures.
Interests
I'm interested in vegan baking, nature, traveling, cycling, reading, playing sock poi, going out dancing, plants and plant fotography, feminism, political activism, getting to know new people... :)
And especially since I just recently bought my first hiking boots, I can't wait to hit the trails!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I have a diverse taste of music. I'm into different kinds of Metal, like Black Metal, Doom Metal, but also 80ies Metal, I like Punk, especially Riot Grrrl, but I also like calmer music, like folk, bluegrass and singer/songwriters.
Books: Der Steppenwolf and Narziss und Goldmund by Hermann Hesse, The Second Sex by Simone de Beauvoir, Anarchism and other Essays and Living my Life by Emma Goldman, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot, The City of Dreaming Books by Walter Moers
My all time favorite TV series is Buffy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I've done was in the summer 2010, when I visited a squatted field against the building of a giant slaughterhouse in Germany.
I lived there for one week and it was an amazing time.
I met awesome people and explored life far away from mass consumption, the daily grind and learned how to live in a most ecological and natural way, with compost toilets and rain showers :).
