ABOUT ME

I'm the product of a whole process of experiencing and growing up (not too much, though) that has been my life. Growing up can be learning how to be a child and still being able to BE (big stress in 'be', small pause,) alone. And being alone doesn't mean feeling lonesome, playing solitaire, watching talk shows. It means being able to free yourself as much as you can from what blocks you from...being...you. And being you is doing exactly what you know is best and what will bring joy to your mind, without needing anyone else to do it for (or with) you. Because once you HAVE (found) yourself you can BE pretty much anywhere.
So I AM, in many places. The international school (although I don't know if the word 'school' makes it justice, since it is so much more than that...) I frequented, in a paesino piccolo (Duino), in Italy, gave me much, and 'much' includes getting to know people from pretty much everywhere. It also made me understand how huge, yet how small the world is. Which makes me think about the next journey even before the one I'm in has come to an end.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to think that every episode of my life is the piece of a puzzle that is slowly getting together and finally revealing something. It's amazing to observe how everything really is connected, how life keeps its balance.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfing is brilliant, and another proof of the world's goodness to add to the huge file I already have.
I've been hosted a couple of times by people from 'place2stay' and I've told many people that I meet randomly and that I think would want to be a part of it about this community. I couldn't host anyone (but I sort of did) during the past 2 years because I was living in my school's residence, but I'm going to move to London soon and I hope to have at least some space for a matress and a sleeping bag!

I love Jack Kerouac's "The Dharma Bums" and some of my life dreams perfectly fit in that (trueish) story.
I like Kurt Vonnegut, Aldous Huxley, Mia Couto, Fernando Pessoa, Antonio Lobo Antunes.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm very interested in learning languages. Any. I'll find beauty in it.
I'm also interested in different religions, in different ethnic groups, in learning from different people.
If you have wool I can make you a 'terere' (something like a woollen braid). I can teach you how to build 'swings' (things you can juggle with, swinging them, I don't know how they're called in english, really) with 2tennis balls and some strings or two long socks and rice, and how to juggle.
