About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Traveling as much as we can, seeing beautfiul places and meeting interesting people.

ABOUT ME

We are two ordinary people who enjoy spending quite a long time on the road. We studied in a faculty where travelling and hiking was the only way of really understanding what you are taught in class. As a consequence, we developed a sense of unlimited space, a kind of vision that the world is our home. We can fell at home everywhere but at the same time we are drawn to our birth place.
We have traveled only in European countries so far, but for the future we intend in seeing other continents as well.
We enjoy cycling, trekking, jogging and photography just as much.
Our traveling experiences have proven us that the world is a very small place and if you meet someone in one corner of the world there is a high probability that you will meet him again some place else. For this reason, we always expect something extraordinary to happen during our journeys.

PHILOSOPHY

The pleasure of a trip is not its destination, but the trip itself

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted friends from Poland, Austria and Sweden, and from what we know, there hasn't been any complaints :)). So far we have couch surfed in Krakov, Poland,Vienna, Austria, France and Andorra and the experiences were absolutely great.
Couchsurfing is way more than tourism. It is the ultimate way to getting to know a foreign place . Seeing a city through the eyes of a local, hearing their stories about where they live, grew up is more valuable than any tourist guide can ever share with you.

Interests

Sharing life and travelling experience with open-minded persons and discovering new cultures. Revealing the beauty of our wonderful world through the photos we take.

Music, Movies, and Books

Metal (viking, folk metal, heavy), romanian folk music, classical music, jazz. Books spanning from biographies, philosophy, fictional and science fiction and usually more than one at the same time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wandering the streets of Monte Carlo at night as we missed the last train to Ventimiglia, Italy. Getting stranded at the end of a fjord in Lofoten Islands and having to wait 6 hours in the rain for a boat.
The most amazing places we've seen- the Romanian Carpathians, the stormy North Sea ,the fabulous glacial valleys from the Alps and the wild Lofoten Islands.
Besides the moments mentioned above, amazing things happen to us every single day. We think that what's more important is they way you perceive what is happening to you. It is that easy just to open your eyes to the wonders of every day life and you will definitely find something that will surprise you in a good way.

Teach, Learn, Share

Along the years we've spent in Denmark, we slowly developed a passion for photography. Now we consider this art more seriously and hence we acquired more knowledge and skills for better photography.
If you are also passionate about photography, we can teach you a thing or two (or we can learn from you), maybe go out and have a small workshop. It can either be while we are surfing or when we host.
