About Me

I’m a 22-year-old student from Santiago, Chile, currently living in Edinburgh! I’m here on an exchange program for 5 months, and I’m absolutely loving Scotland, but I really want to take this chance to travel as much as possible and see new places. I’m super easy-going, social, and I’d say I’m pretty good at adapting to new environments. Growing up in a house with 7 siblings definitely gave me "survival skills" for sharing spaces. I’m organized, I know how to coexist, and I always have a random story to tell.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I'm living in Europe for a few months, I want to experience cities through the eyes of locals, not just as a tourist. I love meeting new people and hearing different perspectives on life.

Interests

Sports & outdoor activities, cooking, and anything related to DIY or crafts.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I listen to literally everything. My favorites right now are Danny Ocean, Olivia Dean, and Arjona.
Movies: Big fan of Dune and Pride and Prejudice (the range, I know). I’ve also seen every single Marvel movie.
Books: I’ll be honest—I’m not a big reader yet, but it’s my resolution to start. Open to any recommendations!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked at one of the biggest interactive museums in Latam (fun fact: Shakira took her kids there last time she visited Chile!). Also, I once survived eating lemon-flavored ants in Ecuador... and they weren't actually that bad. But honestly? My biggest achievement is living with 7 siblings and still being sane enough to travel.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can teach you some fun card games, help you with your Spanish, or show you a few recipes. I'm a pretty good cook!
Learn: I really want to practice my English and learn about how people live in different cultures.
Share: Good vibes, a helping hand around the house, and great conversations.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m very respectful of personal space and shared areas. I’m happy to help with cleaning or cooking dinner while we hang out. I’m just looking to be a helpful guest and make some new friends!
