CURRENT MISSION

To live a good life. I'm on a mission to do my best to honour my soul as much as possible through constantly seeking and soaking up new inspiration, spending time around people who live what they love, and being open to learning at every opportunity. Oh and course, to have a whole lotta fun while I’m at it!

ABOUT ME

I am very easy-going, positive, and enjoy life. I feel I was born with a passionate curiosity which has deepened as I've grown older, and thus I really enjoy meeting new people, seeing new places, and learning new things. Currently I am at the beginning of a long overdue journey to find some likeminded people in beautiful places, who are living their passions, and putting their ideals into action, and hopefully to learn from and share with those people in ways that are mutually enjoyable, inspirational, and beneficial going forward.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My account has been lying idle for many years so haven't really started participating yet, but am very much looking forward to meeting some lovely people who can share a little of their world with me, and me with them. Although I sometimes find it hard in practice, I really do trust that there is so much good in the world, and I think sites like couchsurfing, woofing, workaway etc. are testament to people being open and good, and wanting to invite likeminded people into their lives.

Unfortunately I am unable to host at the moment, as I don't have a settle base right now, but I look forward to welcoming some beautiful souls into my future home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Have met up with some lovely people through Hangouts for chats, chilling, and exploring. Haven't surfed or hosted yet.

I have a passion for healthy, holistic living in every aspect. (That said I am really not very extreme on anything - I believe balance is the key!) I am still learning, and the more I learn, the more I want to learn. I believe wholesome education, especially of children, to be fundamental to changing society for the better. I love nature. It makes me feel grounded and peacefully high at the same time, and is fast becoming an essential aspect of my daily life. I love food, and healthy, wholesome food makes me smile inside and out. I do not have much experience growing, but am on a mission to deepen my knowledge of permaculture and organic farming in the near future. I love preparing and cooking nutritious meals, and love sharing meals with others. I like making things look pretty and feel welcoming. Whether it is a dish, a room, or a garden space, I enjoy the little details that make something warm, attractive, and enticing. I also love animals. I like reading, writing, art, creativity, and love music. I could go on forever really!

I love music. I have a terrible memory for names and titles, but really enjoy anything that stirs my emotions, whatever the genre. During my alone me-time, I tend to listen to acoustic, melodic, or ambient. I really like Alexi Murdoch, Xavier Rudd, Bon Iver, Damien Rice (just not for too long!), Soley, Bebe, Bonobo, Phaleh, Rhye, Pink Floyd. Love some good smooth soul or RnB like Maxwell, Lauryn Hill, India Arie, or some reggae to chill to on a sunny day, or some really good rock to get the energy up. I just like music a lot!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Volunteered for 2 months in Guatemala. First trip far away on my own at 18 so was a big journey to undertake at the time. Travelling up into a village in the mountains with native indigenous women I worked with was scary, magical and surreal; riding up into the clouds on a bus full of people who spoke a language of clicking sounds, being the first white woman in the village and having barefoot children look at me wide-eyed in wonder.
