Hello, we are a couple from Chile and we are new to Couchsurfing. We are going on vacation to New York for 2 weeks in August, we will love getting to know the culture, language, places, and food.
We are both university students, medicine (Catalina) and master in physics (Gabriel).

We enjoy eating and cooking, talking, dancing, trekking, playing board games, knowing new places, watching movies and series, being with our families, friends and pets (we each have a kitten).

We do not smoke or drink

Food: Catalina - vegetarian (wanting to become vegan, I just need to give up cheese), Gabriel - omnivore.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Together we have traveled through some parts of Chile, Chillán, Pucón, and Viña del Mar. We like walking and trekking, in fact, once we did a 12 hours trekking!

Teach, Learn, Share

We would love to know more about Manhattan and visit places for a good meal or a good party night.
Catalina can teach some simple vegan recipes to people that have zero knowledge about veganism.
Gabriel can teach some basic dance moves on salsa or bachata (spread dancing styles in our country)

What I Can Share with Hosts

We offer good conversations and company, you can practice Spanish with us if you are interested, we can cook (we are not experts, but we know some things and they are delicious).
We can share music, movies, and walkings with our host(s).
