About Me
[I'm currently and temporarily living at my parents' for I have just arrived from a 5y stay in Asia so, unfortunately, I can't host for now. I can always send you some recommendations about the city and try to meet you if I can.]
I'm an unceasing curious about the world. I'm centered and chaotic. I like order and the unexpected. I'm gemini! I'm very easy going, open minded, adapt quickly to new places and cultures. I like honesty, true self and emotions, passion for life and living. Improvisation life skilled.
Now less poetic: I studied psychology but that does not define me. I take most of the knowledge about myself and about human behavior in general from my experiences: my contact with theater, the work I do with people, the travels, the books, the volunteer work, the falls, the jumps,.. Well, like everyone else: from life experience!
I am still wondering in the world and I like to know the places through their people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on CS because I want to take as much from the life of the place I'm visiting as possible. I like to know a place through it's day to day life. Yes, I also enjoy visiting the main historical spots and grand views, etc. But I am always more curious to get to know it though the people. The people who live there for many years, the ones who just arrived. It's not crucial. What is important for me is to listen to stories, know that little bar around the corner, greet the community, get to feel the vibe of the place through the hand and eyes of its inhabitants.
I'm also grateful when CSurfers take some time to share stories from their trips around the world . It's such a joy when one ends up talking about this super charismatic old man from that remote village in some island in Indonesia that both have encountered before.
Although I've stayed in many people's houses in different parts of the world, you won't find much activity on my CS profile page because these have been mainly hosting from people that I've met on the road while driving with my tent on the back of my bike and that would kindly invite me to stay with them or they were CS hosting organized by friends of mine. And when it happened that I hosted someone, it would be more or less on the same ground - me spontaneously inviting someone in. In any case, I will be happy to welcome you upon your request in this platform!
Interests
Experiencing. I'm interested in everything that contributes to my self-development. Travelling and everything that comes with it: meeting new people, learning a new language and culture, getting to know myself a little bit more every time I embrace a new adventure.
Also: theater, performing arts, photography, meditation, ancient cultures and knowledge, cultural diversity.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Accepted the challenge!
There's one trip I'm very proud of: I took my motorbike, a tent and a book (and clothes and money, yes, I'm still not that detached!) and went on a one-month bike trip throughout Indonesia. I've crossed 5 Islands, went on 5 ferry rides (one was a boat trip that took me 2 days!), slept under the stars (and served the mosquitoes a delicious feast), literally cut my way through the jungle to find a waterfall never before seen by a foreigner, met wonderful people and I've seen the most breath-taking landscapes of my life.
