About Me

I love to learn and grow through all new kind of meaningful experiences. I do it mostly by going to new places, meeting new people doing things I’ve never done before. That’s how I get to know myself better and understand also my limits. The inspiration I get from meeting other’s stories and paths enriches my own path and knowledge of the world way more than any book, class or degree so I’m super happy to become part of this couchsurfing family.

I Love and need to move my body frequently in very different ways but especially through Yoga, running, hiking, swimming and dancing. Also like to practice different nature sports once in a while like surf, slack line or climbing.

In sum being in nature, eating self raised vegetables and fruits, share good moments at table with friends, moving and getting sun are my ways to get all the energy I need to live happy daily :) Also love to try new gastronomy and share Portuguese recipes or even cook them for others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is all about sharing and sharing is one of the life values I love the most. It’s amazing all we can learn from meeting new people and new places. Sharing homes is a sign of how valuable and open minded one can be and it’s amazing how much we get richer through these experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

I’m a chameleon and like many sorts of music as long as it makes me feel good in a certain moment. Spotify is a good friend of mine as it makes me discover new songs related to what I’ve being listening. Mostly can be indie pop, alternative, bossa nova, chill out or even a good deep groove techno or rock to shake out a bit.
Same thing for movies! Easier to say that I don’t like much horror or high special effect movies and love those who make me laugh or wonder for days after watching it.
I like polar books like Camilla Lackberg or Dan Brown’s ones but lately been reading more self developmental books like those from Lise Borbeau, Brene Brown and Eckhart Tolle.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve quit my job some months ago and started:
- travelling with little money and ecologically through Europe (bus, hitchhiking, blablacar, short flights, sailing)
- volunteering for bed and food (hostel near Lisbon, a touristic farm village in Azores and a NGO for refugees in Greece),
- doing short term jobs to get the money I needed for living (working on a bar and harvesting in France, hopefully soon working in Strasbourg’s Christmas market!)
- and making things that were/are in my “one day I’ll do/go” list (harvesting in France, ride a horse, sail with findacrew, surf, canyoning, travel ecologically, working at Strasbourg Christmas market, make a 10 days Vipassana course, sharing zero waste tips and diy stuff with the people I meet, travel in Europe, humanitarian volunteering, yoga course... ).

No more One days I’ll...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share some practices around emotional intelligence, my morning routine practices, breath exercises, zero waste tips, my french, English, Portuguese and Italian language skills and contact improvisation dance tips for example.

What I Can Share with Hosts

For now unfortunately I can’t receive hosts at my own home but can have you at my parents house in countryside if Lisbon once I got back from my travel through Europe.
