About Me
I am a newby CS looking to explore this wonderful new (or actually really old) way to travel.
I am not looking for any particular kind of host, nor am I looking for free loading and free walking tours. I really, passionately love to travel, but more than that I love to live in new places. Pretty much every decision I have made since I was 13 years old had the main goal of taking me somewhere new, to do something I found interesting. So in the past 5 years, I have lived in 5 different countries, across 3 (or 4, depends on how you count) different continents! Since I doubt I will be able to live in all countries, Couchsurfing seems to be the next best thing: a cultural shock treatment of sorts! I want to get to know the people, whoever they are, in the places I am visiting, and see the city from their point of view.
What can I offer? Mostly stories, potentially some foods or funky things from whichever country I am currently living in! And hopefully one day a couch too!
So, in short, I look forward to trying this out and getting to know some of the awesome and generous people out there!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am terrified of comfortable and lonely hotels, actually, because of what they symbolize. Whenever I feel like I am getting to content in a comfort zone, I push myself out of it. One of my biggest fears is getting old and missing out on awesome things because I have set certain standards for myself that separate my from reality, so I really strive not to.
So, I am CouchSurfing to get in touch with the reality of each place I visit. To see a genuine point of view of a city, exchange awesome stories and potential travel recommendations.
Interests
I am a big astronomy nerd, so if you live in an area with a great night sky, I will have the best time ever.
But I also love cities, the buzz and the human diversity, the nightlife, the alternative lifestyles!
Lastly I am quite passionate about sustainability, and I see traveling also as a great way to see how other people in other places approach this topic!

Music, Movies, and Books
Whoo, tough.
My favorite genre is rock, pretty much any kind. From The Killers to Rammstein. I love checking out the alternative rock scene of a city. But I am also open to checking out new kinds of music.
My favorite books are the nerdy fiction kind, like LotR, GoT, Hitchhiker's Guide of the Galaxy and more. But I also enjoy more "conventional" literature that makes you reexamine your life. I particularly liked The Great Gatsby and The Unbearable Lightness of Being.
My favorite movie is almost definitely Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Food recipes, actual food (I enjoy cooking), travel stories and recommendations, deep long talks about what it all means.
