A call for the new, a thrill that drives to movement, a willingness to see other cultures, took me to long-term trips where every moment is a challenge to the imagination and an ongoing romance with life.
After 17 years working as Civil engineering I decided that was time to do something that I really like, so in 2013 I start a long trip in Asia... a trip that should had last for one year become a 4 years long journey that took me to India, Nepal, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Burma (Myanmar), China, Sri Lanka , Borneo, Indonesia, Malaysia, Turkey, Iran, Morocco...
During this trip I had the chance to develop another passion that is photography, especially of people and local lifstyle.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First of all I love to travel, meet other countries, new cultures, different people... and Couchsurfing is the best way to get in touch directly with the local population and learn about their reality, ideas, way of life, traditions, religion and culture, away from the tourist beaten track and avoiding stereotyped ideas about peoples.

Travel alone for 4 years in different Asian countries, getting in touch with different cultures and religions...
