Hi!

My name is Catarina and I am a Portuguese traveller! I just finished my bachelor degree in Management, and I am enjoying my final summer break.
I love to travel. Travelling is one of the most amazing things to do because you learn about life, you learn about society and about the beauties of our world but you also learn about yourself. And so I am now going to do my second improvised Interrail with my boyfriend, Gui. We did another one last year wright before we went our separate ways to do a six month Erasmus program, where I studied in Berlin. We visited about 11 countries together and it was a blast, I got really addicted to getting to know other people and ways of thinking.
I'm really funny and I like to help people the best way I can, so I am a volunteer at Make a Wish in Portugal!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friends did Couchsurfing this year, and they told me so many great things about it and the people that hosted them! I want to get to know more people from each country and experience their day to day! I also hope to lean a bit about their habits, the best non touristic places to visit and their cuisine! Would really love to learn some traditional dishes from all around Europe. I love too cook, my boyfriend does to! Also would love to share a thing or to about Portugal cuisine and way of life!

Bon Iver is the BEST music creator ever. Ben Howard, Beach House, Tame Impala, Cage the elephant, The XX, Alt-J, Portugal the man, Mac the Marco, are some good ones too.

Every Tarantino Movie!! Harry potter, Donnie Darko, Gone Girl and Shutter Island and pretty cool.

Most books I read are either Portuguese named our young adult dystopian or john green's books.
