I'm a person who decided to learn by experiencing things. My goal is to visit as many countries as possible and learn different languages and costumes. I have lived all my life up the hills or by the ocean, so I'm a truly nature lover. Beyond that I love eating and cooking good healthy food, have interesting and meaningful conversations, hiking, swimming, dancing, enjoying a drink or two and a good cup of coffee.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I started traveling the values of society went upside down in my head. I started thinking in how much time I spent in school learning some useless stuff while I could have been traveling and learning how to care, to help, to share, to get over differences, to love above any prejudice... Couchsurfing is really a school. We learn how to trust people again and how to share and learn with each other. And better than that, we learn that what really matters in life is not money, but experiences.

I'm interested in anything that is new and different. I'm a long life learner and the way I found towards self-growth was through traveling, meeting new people, getting to know different ways of life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music all the time. I like pretty much all styles. My musical taste changes mostly with my mood or the weather :)

I'm not much of a movie person, but I love to read and watch series where I can learn new languages (likes Jules Verne for learning French).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have hitchhiked across Brazil in five days.

I have sailed for 5 days out in the Atlantic Ocean (and nights)

I have worked on a cruise ship and visited many Caribbean Islands

I also worked in a weed farm in California

I planted rice with locals in Indonesia

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I have experience in woodcut printing, yoga/stretching/physiotherapy, health diet/cooking (non-strict vegetarian). I also can teach English (I worked as an English teacher back in my country).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer good company and conversation. I can cook. I am helpful with house duties.
