Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a total bookworm. Be ready to hear me blabbering about the last book I've read :D
Jorge Amado is a must read. Capitães da Areia is the best book I've read, ever.
Also high on the list:
Fernando Pessoa and Carlos Drummond de Andrade make life sweet.
Rubem Alves makes me see beauty in simple things,
John Lennon: the life made me love the Beatles (even more if that's possible.)
Orwell's 1984 & Animal Farm helped me understand how power changes people. And pigs. hehehehe
Dom Casmurro and Love in the time of Cholera made me believe in love again.
Shantaram opened my eyes to the importance of life & how much experiences can change you,
Kardec. taught me what lies beyond existence,
Fitzgerald's Great Gatsby took me back in time to join a party in the American 20's.
I got confused reading Guimarães Rosa.
Aluísio Azevedo showed me the best and the worst that lies within people.
I grew up reading Harry Potter. And Turma da Monica. AND I still laugh reading comics.
Music:
Teatro Mágico, Beatles, Eddie Vedder, PJ, Nirvana, Arctic Monkeys, Los Hermanos, Black Keys, Legião Urbana.
Movies:
Into the wild (philosophically dangerous)
Love in the time of cholera - (grab a bucket first, there WILL BE TEARS)
City of God - disturbingly awesome
I love Breaking Bad, bitch!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Done: Decided that experiences are more important than a steady job/life.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to make gororoba. Don't know what gororoba is? hehehe ask me.
Seriously now, I can teach my language, learn your language. Share everything (I know) about my country and why I hate Carnival, aaaand everything else I've learned from travelling.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I will probably try cook something very Brazilian and hopefully not salt it too much (but I can't promise hehehe)
I love teaching so I'll probably try teach you how to swear and say cute things in Portuguese.
