I'm a librarian-to-be and an English language teacher at Bamberg University and I consider myself a friendly and open person who likes to talk and make new experiences. I never usually say no to a nice discussion either since I am always interested in everyone's point of view on pretty much everything. Most importantly, I try not to judge people from first sight and to not be guided by stereotypes.

I enjoy travelling a lot, always supposed that money and time allow for it (and - as we all know - far too often one of the two are lacking). I love exploring new cities just as much as nature and hiking trips - an ideal holiday should include both.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I must admit that I first joined couchsurfing mainly for the possibility of finding an inexpensive way to travel. But when I actually tried it, I totally fell in love with the idea and the people I met. Couchsurfing has enriched my travels and I'd like to give something back, so I decided to participate in a more active manner and sometimes host people here in Bamberg.

However, since I started living with my boyfriend this became a little more difficult since he is not (yet) as open to the idea of couchsurfing as I am - but we're working on that ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have strong opinions about music, I even like the radio (which is something like a deathly sin among my music-loving friends here). So I can't engage in any discussions about that, so sorry.

But I do love reading, it is possibly my favorite activity. I read through all genres and kinds of books and my favorites are changing constantly. I'm always happy about reading tips :)
