ABOUT ME

ok..here it goes..I'm a typical portuguese girl( and especially a Porto girl)who likes to know things beyond the space of her block. I've lived in Macau when I was a child and my family is made up by people who have been all over the world, so my passion about travelling is genetic!
Indoors I'm quiet at first, but when I start to feel confortable with someone or some place I get more at ease... :P anyway, I'm a night person.I love going out and it's the time of the day I prefer to take a walk or go out to have a beer and have long conversations on anything.in the mornings I'm like in 50% of my capacities, but in the afternoon I'm normal!(I'm sleepy, I must confess). Oh. almost forgot: I'm a biiigggg talker (ask my husband or any of the ppl I've hosted, hehe...). Once you get me started conversations can last for whole nights..

PHILOSOPHY

I like to go to places and free my mind of any pre-conceived ideas I might have had about it's ways and people and just enjoy the discovery.that's also my philosophy in the day-to-day life: a constant discovery

'till now I've mostly hosted ppl...but i look forward to be hosted as well, it only happened once so far!
anyways, hosting is a beautiful experience, u can give warmth, support and introduce ur hosts to what u love about ur own country, while exchanging thoughts and experiences that no money could ever buy :)

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

my musical taste is very weird, it ranges from traditional and modern arab music(natasha atlas' my favourite) to bands like a perfect circle, pearl jam, morphine and deftones..but I like so many things it's hard to say.for now I'm getting more in touch with female singers like Erykah Badu, India Arie,etc, and some different stuff like Tricky (whose cncerts are a blast) and especially drum n'bass.when it comes to books I have a few favourites : patrick suskind,g.orwell, nicolau maquiavel, aldous huxley, hemingway and portuguese authors. as for the movies, I'm probably like most of the world, I like some big hollywood productions, nothing very interesting I guess..

I'll always be ready to interact with people, wether it's teaching or learning(both at the same time, for sure). probably the best thing i can try to share...is my absolute Love for the human being..and life!
