My name is Catarina and I'm a student of Electrical Engineering. I'm currently taking my master's in Computer Science, doing my first semester under the Erasmus Programme in Wroclaw, Poland.
I'm a big fan of nature and I always look up for trips where I can see some of the wild sights of the country/city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of the things that I think makes a trip is people, so what better place to have contact with locals that CS. Through here you go out of the conventional way of traveling and you get easier access to the culture and customs of the country. For me there is nothing better than interacting with a local and having them explain you their ways and traditions and, of course, having the chance to share my own.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love classical music and Jazz music from the 60's. My favorite book is "Ensaio sobre a Cegueira" by José Saramago but normally I read more scientific literature or productivity. At the moment I'm reading "Why we sleep" and "Le Comte de Monte-Cristo" but translated to portuguese.

Not really a movie person, I only see them if im with somebody, otherwise I would watch some TED talks or my fav show Friends.

Learn:
- Im really into languages and any new one is welcome
- Culinary is also a thing I love doing, but being a vegetarian that sometimes restricts the traditional foods I can eat, although there is always a way to transform them ;)

Share/Teach
- I can teach you some of my adaptions of tradional portuguese plates or normal ones to vegetarian
