Disfrutar al maximo!!
ABOUT ME
Young expat living and working in Sevilla, Spain. Trying to stay out of the States as long as possible and figure out my next step.
Reformed perfectionist.
I describe myself as imaginative, goal-oriented, witty, a bit on the lazy side after adapting to the siesta lifestyle.
I drink a lot of Spanish beer and wine, love to read and travel and tapear.
I once got a fortune cookie whose fortune read, "You will travel and come into fortune." I taped it to my desktop, where it's been for the last 6 years.
I wanted to move abroad since the second my plane touched down in Chicago after a summer in Spain. What turned into a desire to travel a bit after graduating college has turned into an adventure, full of more good things than unfortunate events and REALLY bad language slip ups! I love Spain - its history, language and forma de ser. I can't get away from here!
My passport is my most valuable possession, followed by my dearly-missed shih tzu, Morgan.
I speak English and Spanish, but I want to learn Italian, French and Mandarin, too.
I collect postcards from all over the place and can imagine myself living in a house eventually, filled with stuff I've looted from around the world.
I'm an adventurous eater. I've eaten every part of a pig except for the brains (thanks to my boyfriend, whose father is a pig farmer).
One guy I met here in sevilla told me my CS profile did not adequately match my personality. I'm not very serious at all!!
PHILOSOPHY
You don't have to be far away to have an adventure.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've done and seen so many things in Sevilla and have a ton of suggestions of place to eat, sleep, party and visit. Contact me for any kind of question!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I travel alone a lot, so from Italy to Croatia to China, meeting up with locals has by far been the best experiences I've had with couchsurfing. I'm hoping to be a little more active next year!

Music, Movies, and Books
Read a Year in the World by Frances Mayes. It will make you reconsider what you call home. Or, at the very least, it will inspire you to get out of your house.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've personally raised $3,500 for pediatric cancer programs in Iowa. Working with Children's Miracle Network and Dance Marathon changed me in indesceribable ways.
My first huge rush came from snowboarding in unmarked terrain in Colorado. I've been seeking something like that ever since.
I once saw a rhino give birth at the Brookfield Zoo in Chicago. It was equally disgusting and wonderful.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you the city and tons of Spanish slang to help you evade getting ripped off by a cabbie or hugged by an old man. That's important stuff!
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Bahamas, Belgium, Bermuda, Canada, China, Croatia, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Monaco, Morocco, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican City State
Countries I’ve Lived In
