ABOUT ME

I am a lover of nature. I truly love being outside with the birds, plants and animals....Watching animals quietly, seeing the plants grow- and learning their names and what they are used for. This is a deep and integral part of me.

I am passionate about building community wherever I go. I love getting to know people, learning their stories and learning more about honesty and communication.

I am an artist, a bicyclist,, an herbalist, a basket maker, a naturalist, a reader and a nature mentor. Doing my best to live a simple life in the mountains of western North Carolina.

I am constantly discovering more about myself and how I can contribute to this world.

PHILOSOPHY

I live to connect with people, plants and animals. I love hearing peoples stories and sharing experiences with others. I love to laugh, learn, grow and interact with the world around me.

I suppose my one word philosophy would be connection.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am some what of a new and I am learning how I can participate.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed many couches in my life and travels...and 5 or 6 officially through Couch Surfing. All of them were very good experiences and usually I made new friends through the process. I have not traveled much in the last several years as my home life has become more settle, but I am looking forward to traveling and couch surfing more in the near future.

I have an eclectic taste in music. I like most things really. Especially music that my friends make. I tend to listen to a lot of folk, old time, classical, instrumental..
