About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission in life is to explore the ways in which art can bring communities together so that we can solve the biggest problems facing us today.
ABOUT ME
I split my childhood between the Philippines and the United States but have overall spent most of my life in the United States. I taught English in South Korea for a year then backpacked through Southeast Asia for a few months. Now I live on the East Coast of the United States where I am creating a career as an artist. I have studied acting, theatre directing, filmmaking and dance (hip hop and ballet). My dream is to create a television show that shares with Americans the beauty and diversity of the world and inspires them to practice empathy and compassion in their lives.
PHILOSOPHY
"People were created to be loved.
Things were created to be used.
The reason the world is in chaos,
Is because things are being loved,
And people are being used."
--The Internet
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My favorite part of travel is getting to know people. Tourist attractions are tons of fun, but getting to see how people live is the best part! I love seeing the different and same ways we go about this funny little thing called life.
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm open to meeting up, and when I have a place of my own, I intend to host.
Interests
I enjoy learning languages, singing, acting, painting, developing stories, eating French pastries, and occasionally playing the ukulele.

Music, Movies, and Books
Musically, I like Florence + The Machine, Ellie Goulding, Marina and the Diamonds, Lorde, Sia and the musical Wicked.
I have a soft spot for The Phantom Tollbooth and books like it. My favorite authors include Terry Pratchett and Catherynne M. Valente. I don't read as much as I used to, but when I do, it's more likely to be nonfiction.
I don't watch a lot of TV or movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Teaching English in South Korea has been such a great experience. What an amazing opportunity to share cultures with a great bunch of crazy kids.
