Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet new and interesting people from all over the world. I have a map we can put a PIN in.
ABOUT ME
I am a US Navy Corpsman in the reserves and a mother to 2 children. My friends would say I'm crunchy and enjoy marching to the beat of my own drum. I am artistic and creative, I prefer the organic to the mechanical/ natural to the artificial. I have had many professions for being only 32 years old. I have done nails in a salon, waited tables, tended a bar, worked in retail clothing, done high-end retail, graphic design, printing press production, some photography and journalism... I've done hard labor in the Navy doing sort of traditional navy stuff like line-handling and working to overhaul the ship. Eventually I became a navy corpsman (medic) and worked in a pediatric clinic in California. I found that I have a real gift for the healthcare field. After I had my daughter, I realized that my real passion was not only health care but birth and lactation activism/education. I've had two very different birth experiences with my children and have made it my life's mission to love and educate as a nurse and soon also a childbirth educator.
Recently, I graduated with my BSN and became a Registered Nurse and took a job on the Neurosurgery floor. So naturally, I have a hectic schedule.
PHILOSOPHY
I just want to learn and grow. Be a good person and teach my children to be good people.
Taking it one day at a time. I'm just trying to build new bridges and open new doors so that some day nothing will be beyond my reach.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like so much, it would be ridiculous to list them here. I'm kind of a media junkie. But not necessarily mainstream stuff.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent New Year's Eve in Olbia, Sardinia in 2004. They had large puppets on cranes and a laser light show, then a huge fireworks display. Although it may not seem that special it was so beautiful and artistic. I didn't even understand most of the Italian but I was awestruck. The Rock of Gibralter is totally amazing at Sunset. The people of Ghana were amazing to my friends and I.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am teaching and learning about natural/holistic living and parenting.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Holistic nutritional and attachment parenting knowledge, along with friendly nurse advice 👩🏻⚕️. I can perform wound care, medication administration, reconciliation and education, as well as perform health and safety inspections of the home.
