ABOUT ME

I am a tree-hugger in search of a green thumb, equal parts thorough and chaotic, driven but not in a hurry.

I was born in a small town on the East Coast of the US, but I have lived for the past eight years in Germany. I jaywalk, wear a bicycle helmet and talk up strangers, but I crave order and don't mind saying it like it is. A real Germerican.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, let's see. I would like to become a host, but I live in a shared flat with two friends. Couch requests will be subject to a 6-week approval process. (This is Germany, after all. Wink, wink.)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Newbie. If not for said shared flat (see above), I would have joined couchsurfing years ago.

Interests

Dancing to Tomey Dorsey, Ella Fitzgerald and other dirty, lowdown tunes, Slow Food, streetcars and trains (oh my, how I love trains), and yoga. Oh, and gardening, but only under supervision.
