Overview
About Me
I used couchsurfing frequently while on a 16-month RTW trip in 2015-2016.
I currently live in Santa Barbara, California. I am the director of a summer camp/rehab for teens with screen addiction. I also am a nanny for infants.
I am passionate about farming and cooking, sustainability, traveling, building community, helping each-other, making connections.
I am a nurturer, empath, and go-getter.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
i really like staying with hosts, as it provides the most realistic, local experience. My #1 preference is worktrade/WWOOF, however I cannot always provide a month of my time in a worktrade setting, so Couchsurfing allows me to stay with hosts for shorter periods of time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I got stuck in Bangkok one time and found a host while in the airport, his doorman didn't let me in so I went up the fire escape (as the host instructed me to do if I was denied in) backpack and all..
Teach, Learn, Share
Traveled to Uganda to work at a school that i started funding when i was 12. Since my fundraiser began we have built a water well, clinic, dorms, library. Donated musical instruments, art, science, and medical supplies.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am good at: cooking, organizing, driving, socializing, babysitting, running errands, typing, administration, being quiet, offering travel advice...
I'll do dishes, I clean up after myself, I can be quiet as a mouse if asked. 👍
