ABOUT ME

HI! Im Caitlin. I have lived in Brooklyn for 4 years and Manhattan for 6 months. I currently live right outside the city. I have had this profile for years but never used it so I am technically new to Couchsurfing !

Going to school in Brooklyn has opened me up to all types of new people and new experiences. I am always down to try new things, whether it be food or adventuring. The city has made me come alive, and I would like to give people the chance to experience the same. I also enjoy many different types of social dance. My favorites are salsa and swing dancing. I have taken up running last year and have a goal to run the Great Wall of China Marathon in 2018.

I love meeting new people and learning about where they come from and what they have experienced.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to dance and run. They are the two things that I am passionate about most. I can teach you basic dance moves and show you around the dancing community! Since I live right outside the city, I also know a lot of great places that are only about an hour and a half outside of Manhattan to go hiking/ kayaking if you want a day that is outdoors. My car is available for that type of day trip.

In general, I love to exchange experiences and ideas with people. It is the best part of traveling. I am adventurous and flexible so I would pretty much be down for any experience.
